Compensation: CAD 220,000 base + double OTE

We’re hiring a VP Sales to lead and scale our commercial growth across East Coast Ontario, Canada. This is a senior leadership role for someone who knows how to build high-performing SaaS sales teams, drive predictable revenue, and win in a competitive HR tech market.
You’ll own regional sales strategy, team performance, pipeline health, and execution against ambitious growth targets. We’re looking for a leader who is equally comfortable in the boardroom, in forecast reviews, and in the field coaching reps through complex deals.
What you’ll do
- Lead the regional sales strategy and deliver against revenue targets
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performing sales team
- Drive pipeline generation, deal execution, and forecast accuracy
- Develop territory and account strategies for mid-market and enterprise prospects
- Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Product
- Improve sales process, methodology, and performance management
- Hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent
- Maintain strong executive relationships with customers and strategic partners
- Provide clear reporting and commercial insight to senior leadership
What we’re looking for
- Proven success in a VP Sales, Sales Director, or senior commercial leadership role
- Strong background in SaaS, ideally within HR tech / HCM / payroll / workforce software
- Track record of exceeding quota and leading teams to consistent growth
- Experience selling complex solutions into mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operations discipline
- Skilled people leader with a coaching-first mindset
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills
- Experience in a fast-growth environment is highly valued
