Duties

• Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors, ensuring proper identification and access control
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity across the premises and identify potential security threats
• Perform routine patrols of the property to detect unauthorized access, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations or conflicts, utilizing first aid and conflict management skills when necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to coordinate effective responses
• Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious activity promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles preferred; military background is a plus
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in conflict management is advantageous
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and security protocols
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicts professionally
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
