Job Description
We are seeking a Varicent Analyst – Compensation Support to manage and support our incentive compensation processes using the Varicent platform. This role combines analytical responsibilities with operational support, ensuring accurate payouts, maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and providing insights through reporting. You will collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and IT teams to deliver a seamless compensation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain compensation plans, rules, and workflows in Varicent.
- Validate incentive compensation calculations and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide functional support for Varicent users, addressing queries and issues promptly.
- Perform regular data audits and ensure accuracy of data feeds from CRM, ERP, and HR systems.
- Monitor scheduled jobs and workflows for successful execution.
- Generate and analyze reports and dashboards for stakeholders to track performance and payouts.
- Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and maintain system-related knowledge base.
- Collaborate with IT and Varicent administrators for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Support testing during new plan implementations or system changes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in incentive compensation, Varicent administration, or related support roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Varicent ICM platform.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel; basic SQL knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce), ERP (SAP/NetSuite), and HRIS (Workday) integrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Knowledge of incentive compensation processes and best practices.
- Exposure to SaaS environments and system administration tasks.
