Purpose:
At Intellismith, we are building digital transformation with compliance and precision at the core. We are looking for a Payroll Specialist (5–7 years experience) who can manage the complete payroll cycle and ensure accuracy, compliance, and employee trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing: salary structuring (Basic, HRA, allowances, reimbursements, variable pay), deductions, and disbursements.
- Handle taxation and statutory filings: Income Tax (Form 12B, Form 16, quarterly/annual returns), TDS, PF, ESI, PT, LWF.
- Administer Full & Final (F&F) settlements: notice pay, leave encashment, gratuity, bonus, and final dues.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws: Minimum Wages Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA Act.
- Maintain onboarding documentation and employee records with accuracy.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth salary processing and statutory compliance.
- Generate payroll reports, MIS, and insights for management.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5–7 years of hands-on payroll experience with compliance across multiple states.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Working knowledge of HRMS tools (Zimyo, PeopleStrong, SAP, or similar).
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict timelines.
- Strong stakeholder management and employee query resolution skills.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience in payroll audits and process improvement.
- Exposure to contract staffing payroll and compliance.
- Familiarity with automation in HR operations.
- Ability to interpret labour law amendments and advise management.
Compensation: ₹5–7.5 LPA (negotiable based on compliance expertise)
