Full Stack Engineer – React, Node.js, AWS (NYC)

Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps that support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry.

We are looking for Leaders/Engineers who can:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance React architectures.
• Build and maintain applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Migrate class components to functional components using Hooks.
• Implement state management, caching, and performance optimizations.
• Add dark mode, theming, internationalization, and localization.
• Build and document UI component libraries (Storybook, monorepos).
• Debug and optimize applications deployed in Azure-hosted Linux environments.
• Azure App Services or Virtual Machines.

Backend (Node.js / APIs)

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using NestJS (Express acceptable).
• Design event-driven and asynchronous workflows.
• Work with BullMQ for background jobs, queues, and async processing.
• Optimize performance across APIs, queries, and caching layers.
• Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Work with Kafka or Azure-native messaging services, such as: Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid & Azure Storage Queues.
• Deploy and operate services on Microsoft Azure.
• Use Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Debug and troubleshoot Linux / Unix environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building Node.js backend services with NestJS.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication skills with an ownership mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
