Placement Coordinator - Internship

About the internship:

We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Placement Coordinator Intern to identify placement opportunities and successfully place students in IT roles. The ideal candidate should have strong networking skills, the ability to source job openings from multiple channels, and a passion for helping candidates build their careers in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Search and identify IT job openings from multiple sources such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, company career pages, and other platforms

2. Build and maintain a database of companies and hiring contacts

3. Connect with HR and recruiters for placement opportunities

4. Help in screening student profiles and matching them with suitable IT roles

5. Coordinate interview schedules and follow-ups with candidates and employers

6. Maintain and update placement trackers and reports

7. Assist in conducting resume reviews and basic interview preparation sessions

8. Stay updated on current IT job trends and skills in demand

Required Skills

1. Good understanding of IT roles (Data Analyst, AI Engineer, Developer, Testing, etc.)

2. Good communication and interpersonal skills

3. Familiarity with LinkedIn and job portals is a plus

4. Strong willingness to learn and grow in recruitment/HR

5. Good organizational and coordination skills
