Salary

Salary range: 66,500 - 83,100 CAD (based on a 35‑hour workweek).

About the role

We are looking for Data Scientist interns for our growing team.

What you'll do

Transform complex data sets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.

Complete high‑quality coding and leverage commonly used packages and libraries to perform assigned technical tasks.

Gain experience working with various types of data, including geomatics, telematics, textual, and image data.

Use technical skills in Python, NLP, and LLM.

What you bring

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

Available to work full‑time (35 hours per week) for the Fall 2026 Term (September to December).

Must be an active student during the internship and/or returning to school in Winter 2027 semester.

Must be eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience required.

Experience in data science, machine learning, or deep learning.

At least one previous internship in a similar or related role.

Experience in a financial services company.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Excellent communication skills and passion for technology.

Self‑reliant with a strong sense of responsibility.
