We are the team responsible for bringing Instacart’s innovative in-store technology to life across our retail partners’ stores, and driving adoption from day one. Within this organization, the Launch Success &amp; Retailer Enablement pillar owns the full lifecycle of new store deployments, from pre-launch readiness through early user growth and ongoing retailer enablement.</p> <p>We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sr. Associate to join the acquisition programs function within this pillar. In this role, you will be the operational engine behind the programs that drive new user adoption across our growing portfolio of store launches. You will work across multiple acquisition channels, coordinate with vendors and field teams, and keep the moving parts of a fast-scaling operation running smoothly. This is a high-execution role with real visibility: you will report directly to the Director of Launch Success &amp; Retailer Enablement and work alongside program managers and cross-functional partners who are shaping how we grow our Connected stores technology.</p> <p>If you are someone who thrives on making complex operations feel simple, who uses data to spot what’s not working and takes action to fix it, and who wants the opportunity to grow into program ownership, this is the role for you.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>About the Job</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple user acquisition programs, ensuring vendor schedules, field team logistics, and store-level activation plans stay on track across a portfolio of concurrent launches.</li> <li>Track program performance using operational data, diagnose where results are falling short of targets, and work with program managers to course-correct quickly. You are not just reporting the numbers; you are digging into the details and driving the fix.</li> <li>Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including scheduling coordination, onboarding support, invoice tracking, and performance accountability. You will be a reliable operational partner to external teams who are critical to our success in the field.</li> <li>Get close to the work by spending time in stores alongside field teams, observing what's actually happening on the ground and bringing back the insights that make our programs better. This role is primarily remote, with in-store visits once or twice per quarter.</li> <li>Contribute to the design and iteration of new growth programs for early-stage stores. As you build mastery of how our acquisition channels work, you will be expected to bring ideas forward and help shape what we build next.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>About You</strong></h1> <h2><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in operations, program coordination, field operations, or a related role in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience coordinating across vendors, contractors, or external partners with accountability for scheduling, performance, and deliverables.</li> <li>Strong data fluency, including the ability to use spreadsheets and operational trackers to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive action. You use data to diagnose problems, not just report them.</li> <li>A track record of improving operational performance through hands-on problem solving. You can point to specific examples where you identified an issue, dug into the details, and drove measurable improvement.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience building and maintaining operational workflows, trackers, and documentation that keep cross-functional teams organized and accountable. You default to creating structure, not waiting for it.</li> <li>Experience in retail operations, field marketing, or in-store programs.</li> <li>Background in managing staffing agencies, contractor networks, or third-party field teams.</li> <li>Comfort operating in ambiguity and through competing priorities.
