Executive Assistant to Founder (High Ownership | Asana-Focused Role)
Location: Remote
Experience: 3–8 years
About the Role
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position.
We are looking for a high-ownership, execution-focused professional who can act as an extension of the Founder’s thinking and execution capacity. The role goes beyond coordination and scheduling. You will be responsible for structuring ideas, driving execution, and ensuring outcomes.
This role is best suited for someone who uses tools like Asana as a system to manage execution, not just track tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesFounder Enablement
- Act as a thinking partner to the Founder
- Translate ideas into structured execution plans
- Provide logical, data-driven inputs and challenge decisions when required
Execution Management (Asana-Focused)
- Own and manage execution workflows in Asana
- Build structured projects, task hierarchies, dependencies, and timelines
- Track progress across teams and ensure accountability
- Identify delays, risks, and execution gaps proactively
Data and Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and trackers (Asana and spreadsheets)
- Provide concise updates on progress, priorities, and blockers
- Ensure clarity on ownership, timelines, and outcomes
Strategic Time Management
- Manage the Founder’s calendar based on priorities and impact
- Align scheduling with execution plans and business goals
- Protect high-value time
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Asana (workflow creation, dependencies, reporting)
- Structured thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High ownership mindset
