Insource Corporation (Markham, ON), a leading Canadian technology supplier and service provider in the paper handling, mailing, printing, bindery and packaging industries, is looking for dedicated individuals to help us successfully deliver client solutions.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Summary of main responsibilities:

• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Manage all on site installation processes, repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Correctly instruct customers on proper care, training and maintenance.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
• Offer and promote potential products and services that are available to customers.
• Maintain up-to-date job knowledge through completion of on-going training opportunities, satisfactory skills assessment, and attainment of job related certifications.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification.
• Experience in packaging industry and installation process an asset.
• If needed, must be willing to work nights, weekends and variable schedules.
• Travel may be required from time to time.
• Proven field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Familiarity with paper handling equipment/applications/environment.
• Self-motivated with desire to learn new skills.
• Electronics and mechanical competency.
• Own vehicle, Valid driver's license.

Compensation: Salary plus benefits.
