Position CMS Specialist - Web Content Specialist
Client: Enterprise Financial Services
Type: 12 month contract + extension
Hybrid 3 days a week on site - downtown Toronto
Rate: 30-35/hr on t4 + benefits and 4% – Flex to 37/hr MAX for more senior candidates
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years experience managing and updating websites via a CMS for enterprise company
- Hands-on experience with Contentful or a similar CMS ( i.e. Sitefinity, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager)
- Strong execution mindset – comfortable owning day-to-day campaign delivery
- Experience working with digital marketing teams and campaign workflows
- Ability to interpret requirements and execute independently
- Basic Web Development experience using HTML , CSS, JavaScript (JS)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting financial services / regulated environments
- Background in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
- Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools
- Experience with eCommerce or high-traffic public websites
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a CMS Specialist to join a leading Canadian bank to support the migration and ongoing execution of its public website. This role sits within the Digital Product team and partners closely with marketing to deliver and optimize digital campaigns. The successful candidate will play a hands-on, execution-focused role, responsible for building and managing web content, supporting campaign delivery, and ensuring a seamless user experience across the bank’s public site.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage digital marketing campaigns within Contentful
- Build, update, and maintain web pages and content components
- Translate Jira tickets and marketing requirements into live campaigns
- Partner with Digital Product Managers to:
○ Define delivery timelines
○ Build workback schedules
○ Align on campaign execution strategy
- Perform content updates, enhancements, and regulatory changes on the public website
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards
- Conduct UAT testing, validate changes, and push campaigns live
- Manage:
○ ~40+ updates/enhancements to existing campaigns annually
○ 5–10 net-new campaigns from ideation to launch
