Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate hands-on training sessions Coach trainers and frontline leaders on effective teaching and instruction techniques Partner with operations to align training plans with production needs and compliance requirements Review training records and ensure proper documentation and completion Continuously refine training materials based on feedback, evaluation results, and operational changes Support site initiatives focused on Lean manufacturing, standard work, and workforce development
Desired Skills & Experience:
5-10 years of experience training employees and/or trainers in a regulated production environment Demonstrated experience delivering hands-on, operations-based training with documented completion records Experience with adult learning principles, instructional design, TWI, and/or Job Instruction methodologies Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and enterprise systems such as SAP Strong verbal and written communication skills, including use of technical terminology in a manufacturing environment Ability to analyze complex, high-risk operations and translate them into clear, standardized training steps
Plusses:
Medical device manufacturing strongly preferred, or other highly regulated industries Formal education or certification in:
- Training Within Industry (TWI)
- Job Instruction (JI)
- Adult Learning
- Instructional Design Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment Previous experience training frontline leaders and supervisors
