Job Description
The North American Retail Operations team delivers best-in-class operational support to retail stores across North America. This team acts as the link between the corporate office and stores, ensuring the successful execution of key programs, priorities, and initiatives. They drive operational excellence by prioritizing and resolving issues quickly while enabling cross-functional initiatives to be executed effectively at the store level.
This is an 8-month contract with strong potential to convert to a permanent role, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a high-visibility retail operations team.
The Daily Operations team works closely across the organization to create a seamless retail experience and support the successful rollout of operational and cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in cross-functional collaboration, aligning operational strategies with broader organizational goals and bringing together key stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
- Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring alignment on operational priorities, timelines, and expectations across teams
- Own operational planning and timeline management, including building implementation and communication plans across retail audiences and partnering with Strategic Planning to manage calendars and mitigate impact on store capacity
- Provide stakeholders with clear options, risks, and recommended solutions to support decision-making
- Develop and deliver high-quality written communications and resources for process updates and initiative rollouts in partnership with subject matter experts
- Support change management and sustainment efforts by ensuring strong plans are in place and monitoring execution through retail feedback channels
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, working cross-functionally to minimize disruption to store operations
- Respond to urgent, day-to-day operational issues impacting stores and drive timely resolution
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a corporate environment in a coordination, project, or communications-focused role
- Previous retail experience (store-level experience is acceptable)
- Strong organizational skills with proven experience working across highly cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while holding stakeholders accountable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and influence decision-making
