Early Childhood Educator - RECE

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, engaging with children in meaningful ways, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children.
• Assess children's developmental progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
• Incorporate bilingual education techniques when applicable, particularly in English and French, to support language development.
• Support children with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with young children in a childcare or classroom setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, enabling the teacher to support diverse learning needs effectively.
• A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
