Network Engineer / Technical Support

Role & responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Ensure system security, data backups, and recovery processes are properly maintained.
• Respond promptly to IT support tickets and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and antivirus management.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
• Support remote users and troubleshoot VPN/connectivity issues.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and inventory.
• Assist in IT audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide support during system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support or system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
