Job Description
Operate and perform routine quality checks on MRI equipment as per manufacturer and AERB guidelines
- Position patients correctly and explain the procedure to minimise anxiety and movement artefacts
- Conduct MRI scans of prescribed body regions with correct coil selection, sequence protocols, and parameters
- Screen patients for contraindications (pacemakers, metallic implants, claustrophobia) prior to scanning
- Maintain MRI safety zone compliance — Zone I through Zone IV as per ACR/AERB standards
- Ensure proper documentation of scan protocols, contrast usage (if applicable), and patient records
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC checks and log results
Operate CT scanner (multi-slice / MSCT) for all prescribed preventive screening protocols
- Execute low-dose CT techniques, dose modulation settings, and iterative reconstruction protocols to minimise patient radiation exposure Preventive Screening Centre — HR Job Descriptions | Page | Confidential
- Perform patient screening, positioning, and consent documentation prior to scan
- Administer IV contrast agents as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after injection
- Calibrate and perform daily QA checks on CT equipment (HU uniformity, noise, MTF)
- Upload all images to PACS and verify completeness and quality before radiologist review
- Manage patient scheduling, turnaround, and coordination with front desk and reporting teams
- Ensure full compliance with AERB dose limits, DRLs (Diagnostic Reference Levels), and radiation safety protocols
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹43,881.04 per month
