Role Overview
Seeking a Social Media Listening Manager to join the Enterprise Social Media Intelligence team. This role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing social media conversations, identifying emerging trends and reputational risks, and delivering actionable insights that support business decisions across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, communications, and business stakeholders to transform social media data into meaningful recommendations while supporting a highly visible enterprise social intelligence program.
Key Responsibilities
Social Listening & Monitoring
Build, maintain, and optimize social listening queries, dashboards, and alerts
Monitor brand, competitor, and industry conversations across social platforms
Identify emerging trends, narratives, sentiment shifts, and reputational risks
Escalate significant issues and opportunities with appropriate urgency and context
Insights & Reporting
Develop recurring weekly and monthly reports on sentiment, conversation volume, themes, and share of voice
Support rapid response reporting during campaigns, announcements, events, and crisis situations
Contribute to scorecards and performance reporting for social media initiatives
Translate social media data into actionable business insights and recommendations
Tools, Processes & Governance
Manage dashboards, tagging frameworks, alerts, and automation within social listening platforms
Maintain documentation, activity logs, and reporting processes
Ensure reports and records are properly organized within enterprise repositories such as SharePoint and OneDrive
Participate in on call support rotation for social media monitoring and escalation
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and capabilities across the social intelligence program
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in social listening, social intelligence, digital analytics, or insights roles focused specifically on social media
Post-secondary degree in any field
Deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape
Hands-on experience with social listening and reporting tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Synthesio, or similar platforms
Strong data mining and analytical skills
Ability to convert data into meaningful business insights and recommendations
Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities
Experience working independently in a remote or virtual environment
Nice to Have
Financial services or banking industry experience
Bilingual French and English
Relevant post-secondary education in marketing, analytics, communications, or related fields
