Base pay range

$85.00/hr - $106.00/hr

CAN – Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer (Expert) (Contract)

Start Date: Approx. 02/03/2026

Duration: 12 months

Schedule: Mon–Fri, core business hours (37.5 hrs/week)

Location: Onsite – Toronto, ON occasional WFH for work-life balance)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer to support a market data engineering environment with a focus on monitoring, automation, and DevOps pipeline acceleration. This role will lead the deployment of ITRS Analytics in a Kubernetes environment, build observability frameworks using OpenTelemetry, and drive improvements in delivery efficiency and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and support ITRS Analytics in Kubernetes using FluxCD
• Partner with monitoring engineers to implement OpenTelemetry collection and predictive incident capabilities
• Build and maintain DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery and recovery metrics
• Serve as a key contributor and SME for SRE and DevOps tooling, practices, and governance
• Support broader technical currency and reliability initiatives across the engineering team
• Train and mentor teams on SRE principles and share best practices

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant SRE/DevOps experience
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with ITRS Geneos (v7)
• Strong Kubernetes and GitOps experience (FluxCD)
• Strong scripting/automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible)
• Strong working knowledge of Git, SSH, and CI/CD practices
• Experience working across multiple interfaces and third parties in monitoring/observability environments

• Solace messaging platform experience
