Role Overview
We are hiring an EMC Engineer – Aerospace to support aircraft-level electromagnetic compatibility, ensuring protection against EMI, HIRF, lightning, and ESD. The role involves working on aircraft systems, certification compliance, and EMC analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft-level EMI/EMC analysis
- Support certification activities (FAA / Transport Canada / EASA)
- Review DO-160 EMC test and qualification reports
- Assess impact of aircraft modifications on EMC compliance
- Support lightning, HIRF, and ESD protection requirements
- Work with suppliers and engineering teams on design solutions
Required Skills
- 5+ years EMC/EMI experience (aerospace preferred)
- Knowledge of DO-160 and FAA Part 25 regulations
- Aircraft systems or aerospace engineering experience
- Understanding of electromagnetics, signal integrity, RF interference
- Experience in EMC compliance or testing
