Job Description

• Designs, builds, and maintains the Drupal CMS on Acquia Cloud, including templates, modules, themes, and editor tools.
• Implements both curated and administered content templates; refactors UI controls for reliability and editor usability.
• Ensures all code meets security standards, follows patch/update cycles, and complies with Section 508 requirements.
• Integrates React components and aligns front end code with Akamai caching and asset optimization.
• Coordinates with Akamai WAF tuning, CDN caching rules, and purge logic to support site performance and reliability.
• Collaborates with product designers and content strategists to create intuitive, data informed UI/UX aligned with agency guidelines.

Required Skills and Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 6 years of experience developing web content in Drupal, Akamai

Must be local to DC/MD/VA for onsite work in Woodlawn, MD
