Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Production Support Specialist to support our high-tech production environment. In this role, you will ensure smooth material flow, timely replenishment, and uninterrupted production operations within our manufacturing area. You will play a key part in maintaining lean processes, reducing downtime, and supporting efficient cleanroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely delivery and replenishment of materials, components, and consumables to production workstations.
- Remove finished goods, scrap, and empty material containers from the production floor.
- Manage Kanban systems and material call signals to support Just-in-Time production.
- Monitor inventory levels at point-of-use and proactively escalate potential shortages.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled material staging areas in accordance with 5S standards.
- Support adherence to cleanroom procedures, contamination control, and safety standards.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with operators, logistics, and supervisors to prevent production interruptions.

Qualifications

- Physically able to move materials and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Proactive, structured working style with a focus on maintaining continuous flow.
Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is between $27-$32 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
