Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Manager, SMB Shipping & eCommerce, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
The Sales Manager will lead sales efforts focused on SMB customers, build and strengthen client relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth. This is a hands-on role that requires both personal sales execution and the ability to help build a stronger, more scalable sales function.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and improving pipeline activity, contributing to account strategy, and helping shape a disciplined outbound sales motion. The role will also play an important part in building, coordinating, and supporting a strong inside sales representative (ISR) team, including helping define process, expectations, activity standards, and performance discipline.
The Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales execution with customer needs, market trends, and overall business priorities.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales management, account management, and business development
- Proven ability to build, coordinate, coach, or scale an inside sales or business development team
- Strong leadership, team management, and performance coaching skills
- Knowledge of eCommerce, logistics, shipping, SaaS or related solutions is a strong plus
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales activity tracking
- Ability to build client relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive customer satisfaction
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SMB clients is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
