Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT Administrator responsible for
managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves
end-to-end ownership of IT hardware, software, user support, network basics, and system
administration to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
IT Hardware & Infrastructure
● Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners,
and peripherals.
● Manage IT asset inventory, lifecycle management, and vendor coordination.
● Diagnose and resolve hardware issues with minimal downtime.
● Handle system upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
Software & Systems Administration
● Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS) and standard
business applications.
● Manage software licensing, updates, patches, and renewals.
● Provide L1/L2 support for OS, application, and system-related issues.
● Ensure antivirus, endpoint security, and system compliance standards are met.
User Support & Access Management
● Provide day-to-day IT support to employees (on-site and remote).
● Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions (Active Directory / Azure AD /
Email systems).
● Support onboarding and offboarding processes (system access, device allocation,
revocation).
● Create and maintain IT SOPs and user documentation.
Network & Basic Security
● Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic firewall issues.
● Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for connectivity and network issues.
● Ensure data backup routines, basic disaster recovery, and system security practices
are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
● Strong hands-on experience with IT hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
● Good knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux/macOS (preferred).
● Experience with Active Directory, email systems (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).
● Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
● Understanding of endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management tools.
Soft Skills
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Good communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
● High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
● Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
● Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent (good to
have).
● Prior experience in a corporate or mid-size IT environment.
