Job Overview:

We are seeking a technically strong Manager – Stores, Inventory & SAP Reporting to oversee centralized store operations and inventory management across multiple locations. The role will focus on SAP-driven inventory control, MIS reporting, data analysis, and process standardization to ensure efficient and accurate material management.

The ideal candidate should be a BE Mechanical graduate with strong experience in SAP MM, inventory systems, and multi-location store operations, preferably from engineering, EPC, or manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Centralized Store Operations

• Monitor and manage store operations across multiple locations.
• Ensure uniformity in store processes, documentation, and inventory practices.
• Coordinate with site teams for smooth material flow and reconciliation.

2. Inventory & Materials Management

• Track inventory levels, stock movement, and consumption trends.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and minimize shortages/excess inventory.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and critical inventory items.

3. SAP Reporting & MIS

• Manage inventory transactions and reporting through SAP (MM module).
• Prepare MIS reports on stock, consumption, and inventory valuation.
• Provide analytical insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Maintain dashboards and ensure data accuracy in the system.

4. Systems & Process Optimization

• Ensure accurate material master data and SAP entries.
• Drive process improvements and automation in store operations.
• Implement best practices in inventory control (FIFO, ABC analysis, reorder levels).

5. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, finance, and operations teams.
• Support cross-functional teams with inventory insights and material planning.

6. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and safety standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and control mechanisms for store operations.

7. Team Management

• Lead and guide store teams across locations.
• Train staff on SAP, inventory processes, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• Experience: 6–10 years in stores, inventory management, and SAP reporting
• Experience in EPC, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience in multi-location store management is an added advantage

Technical Skills:

• Experience in SAP ERP (MM module preferred)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Understanding of various reporting and data visualization tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be good to have
• Experience with inventory management systems and MIS reporting
