Manager, Financial Systems – 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension/Permanent)

Our client, a well-established Canadian and international organization experiencing strong growth, is looking to hire a

Manager, Financial Systems

on a 6-month contract basis. This opportunity offers strong potential for extension or conversion into a permanent role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance systems professional who enjoys driving process improvements, optimizing ERP environments, and partnering cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations teams.

Location:

In-office role – 3 to 4 days/week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance-related system enhancement, ERP upgrade, and optimization initiatives
• Maintain and improve financial system controls and data integrity
• Ensure financial reporting processes align with GAAP requirements
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders on system integrations and reporting improvements
• Act as the finance lead and subject matter expert for ERP and reporting systems
• Support data governance, reporting accuracy, and financial system efficiencies
• Assist with troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and audit support activities
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting and business intelligence processes

Qualifications

• CPA designation required
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial systems, finance transformation, or financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Advanced technical skills in:
• Excel (including advanced functions/macros)Power BI,SQL,Data analysis and reporting tools
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
