Business Analyst - Entry

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the Business Applications Management (BAM) team within Global Operational & Enterprise Risk Management (GOERM). The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting business and solution requirements for small to medium initiatives, delivering quality applications, and providing second-line support for application end-users. This role is ideal for candidates with strong documentation skills, experience in testing, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Document business and solution requirements for small to medium initiatives
• Deliver quality applications and provide second-line support for application end-users
• Collaborate with business and technical teams; review technical documentation
• Write test cases and perform functional testing
• Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering through testing and validation

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in business analysis or program/project delivery roles
• Strong documentation skills: ability to capture meeting notes, translate business needs, and review solution design documents
• Experience writing test cases and executing functional testing
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and review technical documentation
• Strong collaboration skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Experience with end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering through testing and validation
• Ability to review solution design documents created by technical teams and provide feedback

Nice to Have

• Background in commercial or small business credit
• Exposure to solution design documentation processes
• Understanding of financial services or banking operations
• Familiarity with data governance, data integrity, and compliance principles

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
• No coding required, but must understand technical solutioning at a high level
