PHP developer - Waterloo (Brussels)

We are looking for a Back-End PHP Developer to join our team! This role sits within our product development team. As a back-end PHP developer, you’ll work alongside our front-end and back-end teams to create new features and build new products. You will report directly to the CEO-CTO of the company. Activities & Responsibilities Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, and Front-End Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our users Develop and implement new features on existing platforms, while also helping define their long-term health Create and run tests to ensure the application’s quality, performance, and scalability Support the operations and support teams by helping triage and resolve production issues Profile Requirements Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented, with a strong sense of collaboration across all levels Empathetic, a good communicator, and open to feedback Proactive and autonomous, with a 360° understanding of your role and a focus on delivering results Reliable, discreet, and committed to a transparent, trust-based work environment Qualifications Fluent in French, with professional proficiency in English At least 4 years of relevant academic training or equivalent hands-on experience in back-end development Strong knowledge of Laravel or Symfony Comfortable working with APIs and RESTful services Creative, organized, and solutions-oriented A collaborative mindset — and the ability to work closely with the team on-site at our offices in Waterloo.
