System Engineer-LEM

Looking to onboard a skilled System Engineer with 2 to 7 years of experience to join our team on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux/Windows infrastructure, Cloud Computing, and Shell/bash/Python scripting.

Roles and Responsibility

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system and application issues using log files, monitoring tools, and other diagnostic techniques.
• Implement full-stack observability, monitoring, and event management integrations to advance the reliability and quality of services.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements based on lessons learned.
• Automate processes to ensure availability of systems, speed to deployment, and consistent configuration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.

Job Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with operational support of On-prem and AWS core infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in infrastructure and automation (e.g., Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell).
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, GitHub, Terraform, Chef).
• Good understanding of end-to-end IaC DevOps solution and modern infrastructure patterns.
• In-depth understanding of AWS services and DevOps practices, SRE principles.
• Proficient with logging platforms like ELK, Splunk.
• Experience configuring and managing an APM like Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Understanding of Linux or Windows Operating system administration fundamentals, including file systems, processes, networking, and basic scripting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong background in Software Engineering, Systems Architecture and Administration, Middleware, Infrastructure and Application Operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
