Technical Writer (XML/DITA, API Documentation)

As an Information Developer (Technical Writer) for our enterprise software products in Pune, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation to simplify complex technical concepts for end users and developers. Your expertise in structured authoring and API documentation will be crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining user guides, API documentation, and technical manuals
• Collaborating with product managers, developers, and SMEs to understand features and workflows
• Performing audience and task analysis to design user-centric documentation
• Defining documentation scope and structure for new and existing products
• Utilizing XML/DITA and structured authoring tools for scalable documentation
• Validating documentation through testing, reviews, and feedback loops
• Leveraging AI tools to enhance documentation quality and efficiency

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in enterprise technical writing
• Hands-on experience with XML/DITA/structured authoring
• Experience in API documentation (developer guides, Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts clearly
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in SaaS or product-based environments
• Exposure to PLM or manufacturing domain
• Knowledge of multimedia or graphics tools
• Strong research and stakeholder communication skills

Eligibility Criteria:

• 59 years of relevant experience in technical documentation
• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Science or equivalent
• Must be currently residing in Pune

Compensation

• 1020 LPA
