As an Information Developer (Technical Writer) for our enterprise software products in Pune, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation to simplify complex technical concepts for end users and developers. Your expertise in structured authoring and API documentation will be crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining user guides, API documentation, and technical manuals
- Collaborating with product managers, developers, and SMEs to understand features and workflows
- Performing audience and task analysis to design user-centric documentation
- Defining documentation scope and structure for new and existing products
- Utilizing XML/DITA and structured authoring tools for scalable documentation
- Validating documentation through testing, reviews, and feedback loops
- Leveraging AI tools to enhance documentation quality and efficiency
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in enterprise technical writing
- Hands-on experience with XML/DITA/structured authoring
- Experience in API documentation (developer guides, Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SaaS or product-based environments
- Exposure to PLM or manufacturing domain
- Knowledge of multimedia or graphics tools
- Strong research and stakeholder communication skills
Eligibility Criteria:
- 59 years of relevant experience in technical documentation
- Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Science or equivalent
- Must be currently residing in Pune
