Key Responsibilities

1. Scriptwriting & Ideation

• Develop clear, engaging scripts for ads, brand films, product explainers, social media reels, shorts, podcasts, and long-form content.
• Translate marketing briefs into powerful narratives tailored for different audiences and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders for content and compliance approvals.

2. Pre Production Ownership

• Lead the end-to-end preproduction process for video shoots.
• Prepare and present scripts, treatments, shot concepts, and moodboards.
• Coordinate closely with production teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless planning.
• Conduct location recce, talent alignment, and shot planning when required.

3. Compliance & Cross Functional Coordination

• Work with legal, compliance teams, and underwriters to ensure scripts meet regulatory guidelines.
• Adapt scripts based on feedback to meet compliance standards without compromising creative quality.

4. Production Support

• Be present during shoots to guide narrative flow, dialogues, performance cues, and story continuity.
• Ensure the production crew have complete clarity on the script vision.

5. Post Production Leadership

• Spearhead the entire post production process including:
• Review and direction of editing
• Story pacing and structure alignment
• Overseeing motion graphics, animation
• Provide consolidated feedback to editors and animators to ensure the final output matches the creative vision.
• Approve final cuts and ensure timely delivery post internal approvals.
• Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of professional scriptwriting experience across advertising, digital content, social-first videos, and branded storytelling.
• Ability to host on camera.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work in ads, TVCs, digital brand films, reels and short-form videos.
• Proven experience in handling end-to-end pre-production and post-production workflows.
• Familiarity with compliance-heavy categories; experience in BFSI/Insurance is a strong plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of digital content consumption trends, platform nuances, and storytelling formats.
