- Perform manual and/or automated testing including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Validate that software or systems meet technical and business requirements
- Define and enforce quality standards, coding guidelines, and testing methodologies
- Maintain documentation such as test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify, log, and track bugs through their full lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Verify fixes and conduct regression testing
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
- Report quality metrics and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Act as the voice of the end user within the technical team
- Analyze defect trends to identify root causes and systemic issues
- Recommend process improvements and tooling upgrades
- Build and maintain automated test suites to improve efficiency
Qualifications Required:
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or a related field
- At least 3 years of working experience in the technical quality assurance field
- Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong negotiation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to work extended hours to meet urgent testing deadlines
