Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Social Worker role based in Thrissur.

The Social

Worker will provide support and counseling services to patients and their families, assisting with emotional, social, and psychological needs.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized care plans, connecting clients with community resources, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves advocating for patient needs, facilitating therapy sessions, and contributing to educational programs and support groups.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Counseling, Client Assessment, and Case Management
• Skills in Advocacy, Emotional Support, and Community Outreach
• Ability to coordinate with therapists, medical professionals, and patient families
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
• Organizational abilities and attention to detail for developing and implementing care plans
• Knowledge in child development and experience working with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Down Syndrome is a strong advantage
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required
• Relevant certifications or training in rehabilitation or counseling will be considered an asset
