Junior Support Engineer

Overview

We are hiring Junior Support Engineers (Freshers) to support our infrastructure and hosting environments. The role involves working with Linux/Windows servers, web hosting, application deployments, DevOps tools, cloud platforms, databases, and monitoring systems. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Linux administration and good English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain web servers, Plesk, domains, hosting environments, websites, storage, and backup systems.
• Manage databases (MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL) including backups, queries, and troubleshooting.
• Perform application deployment and release activities across servers and cloud environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins and assist with automation using Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
• Monitor infrastructure and services using Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• Assist in managing infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including Linux and Windows administration, networking, and security tools.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Proxmox, including VM management, storage handling, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and Linux command-line operations
• Knowledge of Windows administration.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
• Knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
• Understanding of Docker and container technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and hosting environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox).
• Good English communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
