Job Title: Technical Writer & Process Improvement Specialist
Location: Remote within Canada or the United States.
Preferred Locations: Vancouver-area (British Columbia) and Washington state (Greater Seattle / Pacific Northwest) candidates are strongly preferred for occasional in-person collaboration. We are fully open to exceptional remote candidates across Canada and the U.S.

Role Summary
i2i Networks is seeking a strategic and highly capable Technical Writer & Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. This important role will partner with leadership to refine strategic ideas, develop professional-grade documentation, and elevate our internal standards, systems, and operational processes from concept through to successful implementation.
This is a high-impact position for someone who goes well beyond traditional writing. You will serve as a trusted partner who brings clarity to complexity, identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives critical documentation and process initiatives to completion with strong ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to review, refine, and strengthen ideas, documentation, and process frameworks.
- Support and help advance the creation and finalization of high-quality technical and operational documentation, including enterprise standards, procedures, SOPs, training materials, and governance documents.
- Perform process analysis to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, then recommend practical, scalable improvements.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of documentation and process improvement projects through review cycles to final approval and adoption.
- Support the optimization and effective use of digital collaboration and workflow platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Quickbase, and similar tools).
- Maintain the highest standards of clarity, consistency, and usability across all documentation.
- Proactively manage priorities, anticipate challenges, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
Required Skills & Qualities
- Strong technical writing expertise with a proven ability to develop standards, procedures, SOPs, and complex operational documentation.
- Solid process-thinking skills with the ability to analyze workflows, uncover improvement opportunities, and design more effective solutions.
- Collaborative and professional communication style, with the ability to provide thoughtful input and practical recommendations.
- Highly proactive, self-sufficient, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency working with modern digital workplace tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, and workflow systems.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to understand technical and operational environments.
Assets (Strongly Valued)
- Experience in telecom, utilities, construction, field operations, or other regulated industries.
- Background in safety, compliance, or operational excellence documentation.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies or change management.
