Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as hand trucks.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience with commercial driving and operating box trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while following established routes.
• Ability to lift packages up to 100lbs.
