Job Description
At Hypersonix, we are building the leading Generative AI Platform for Commerce. Our Flagship GenAI Product - Competitor + Pricing AI - scrapes the product catalogue for our Enterprise customers and their competitors, and uses RAG to identify the nearest competitive match for each of our customer's product, facilitating intelligent pricing strategies that were previously impossible to achieve.
We are seeing strong growth in our Enterprise product, and are building out a mass-market product on Shopify, specializing in Agentic workflows for Shopify Store owners that automate critical business processes (Pricing + Promotion Strategies, Inventory Management, and Competitive Intelligence).
About the Role
Hypersonix is looking for a UI Designer - Consultant with strong experience in Shopify-based products. You will work closely with product managers and developers to design clean, user-friendly interfaces for e-commerce and SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing UI for Shopify-based websites and applications
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and usability standards
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation
- Improve existing UI based on user feedback and performance insights
- Maintain consistency across screens, components, and design systems
- Support quick design iterations in an agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a UI Designer
- Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem (themes, layouts, limitations)
- Hands-on experience designing e-commerce user interfaces
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Good knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design
- Ability to work independently as a consultant
- Strong communication skills with U.S.-based stakeholders
Good to Have
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end workflows
- Experience working with SaaS or AI-driven products
- Familiarity with accessibility and usability standards
