Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and proactive professional to lead our Production Planning & Control (PPC) department. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing production schedules, materials planning, sales coordination, customer inspections, documentation, and ERP systems. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage departmental functions while ensuring smooth coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan raw material requirements in line with monthly production schedules.
- Coordinate with Sales and Purchase departments to align planning with demand.
- Address and resolve sales queries via email and phone.
- Manage service calls and provide necessary inputs to the planning team.
- Collaborate with Production and Dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain reports, records, and departmental documentation.
- Guide and support team members in resolving work-related issues.
- Update production modules in ERP and contribute to new task development.
- Handle sales coordination for commercial issues related to planned dispatches.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduation is mandatory. B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 12–15 years of proven experience in PPC functions. Experience in HVAC manufacturing units will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of PPC processes, ISO systems, and database management with complete record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to leverage web research for system improvements.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
