Software Engineer | Investment Management

We are partnered with a long-standing Investment Management firm in Stamford, CT to help bring on their next Software Engineer. This is a hands-on full‑stack role with meaningful ownership of core internal systems. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain enterprise web applications used across the firmDevelop scalable .NET 8+ Web APIs and Angular front endsCreate reports, dashboards, and automated data exportsDevelop scheduled jobs and workflow automationWork directly with business users to refine requirementsDocument systems and contribute to future-state architectureSupport production applications and improve performanceHelp shape engineering standards and development practicesRequirements Strong experience with C#, .NET 8+, .NET Core Web API, and AngularSolid SQL skills, including query tuning and schema designExperience with Entity Framework and/or DapperBackground building secure, scalable enterprise applicationsExperience with SOA and real-time frameworks (e.g., SignalR)Familiarity with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, etc.) This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite in Stamford) with a total compensation expectation in the $180k-250k range.For consideration, please apply directly to this posting or send your resume directly EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
