Role: Production Support Engineer

Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 CAD + Bonus

My client are seeking an Engineer with a broad skillset to support a range of technology within their stack.

The position has a heavy focus on supporting Front Office trading applications, and the ideal candidate will come from a similar environment.

Front Office Support: Supporting trading applications within a Front Office environment.

Strong focus on Python scripting.

Change Management: Working closely with the development team to implement changes within the change workflow, managing delivery of services to production and research environments.

Post-Release Support: Providing post-release and implementation services, supporting brokers and traders, and assisting with go live scenarios and projects.

Linux: Working within Linux environments.

Understanding and supporting application architecture.

Databases: Querying and troubleshooting relational databases such as SQL and Postgres.

FIX: Supporting environments where FIX knowledge is highly desirable.

Linux: Experience working in Linux environments.

Python: Strong Python scripting skills.

SQL: Strong SQL querying and troubleshooting skills.

Experience within a Front Office / trading environment.
