Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Specialist

Some roles are about running campaigns.

This one is about rebuilding and elevating a CRM ecosystem to a higher standard of performance and technical maturity.

We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist who can go beyond execution. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of architecture, data, and automation, and can effectively translate CRM strategy into measurable revenue impact.

This role sits at the heart of a broader Salesforce transformation, where Marketing Cloud is evolving into a more complex, more integrated, and more data-driven environment than initially designed.

The role

Reporting to a senior Growth & Performance leader, you will take ownership of the Marketing Cloud Engagement platform and be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and optimizing automated customer journeys (retention, upsell, reactivation)
  • Developing and maintaining advanced segmentation logic using SQL and data extensions
  • Implementing personalized dynamic content using AMPscript
  • Ensuring platform scalability, governance, and data quality
  • Maintaining and improving integrations with Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and data warehouse environments
  • Translating CRM and customer strategy into robust technical implementations that drive performance

It's important to understand that this is a hands-on technical role, and not a campaign coordination position.

Your DNA - what makes you stand out

  • You have a minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement) experience.
  • Your day to day tech stack ideally includes Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL for segmentation and data extension logic and AMPscript for personalization.

You also have a solid understanding of...

  • Contact Builder and Marketing Cloud data architecture
  • Email deliverability best practices
  • Salesforce ecosystem integrations (Service Cloud, Data Cloud)

You have already operated in a complex, evolving technical environment and ideally have relevant experience with migration, restructuring, or heavily customized environments.

Working model

  • On-site role (5 days per week) with 1 day remote flexibility.
  • Close collaboration with both technical and operational teams.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred, but English-only profiles may be considered.

  • You have a deep understanding and audit of the current Marketing Cloud setup.
  • You deliver robust, scalable journeys and segmentation logic.
  • You are capable of identifying and executing performance improvements.
  • You have initiatied a clear shift toward a more data-driven, structured, and scalable CRM approach.
