Job Description
How To SaaS is a management consulting firm focused on helping SaaS companies thrive through marketing and demand generation. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Social Media to join our internal marketing team and help us scale promotions across our product lines.
This role is:
- Full-time
- Remote
Our team is based around Toronto and loves getting together whenever possible, so we would prefer that candidates live in or near the GTA.
Who you need to be:
- You have owned and managed all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc). for several businesses, including B2C and B2B, with a focus on thought leadership content.
- You have led the full strategy and creative process across multiple social media platforms. This includes, concepting, scripting, filming, creating graphics, editing, writing, scheduling, and engaging with followers.
- You’ve built out and executed on a social media content calendar
- You’ve proven your ability to grow engagement and followers for a business social media account, and have metrics to show for it.
- You’re a strong writer and have produced a variety of content for both B2B and B2C audiences. This should include blog posts, landing pages, one-pagers, whitepapers and templates.
- You’re data-oriented and can report on relevant metrics, from CTR and traffic sources through to pipeline and revenue generated from your campaigns.
- You’re a fast worker. We’re looking for someone who can produce a new content asset every day, without compromising on quality and attention to detail.
- You’re bursting with creative ideas. You will be constantly devising new assets and posts that could engage our audiences and support our goals.
- You know your way around commonly-used platforms, such as:
- Social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and X.
- Website platforms like Kajabi or Wordpress
- Google Analytics
- CRM software like Hubspot or Marketo
- Social media scheduling tools like Sprout Social
- You’re able to manage your time independently and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented.
- It’s a big positive if you have previous experience working on social media for:
- Private equity or venture capital audiences
- Marketing courses or communities
- SaaS or DaaS products
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with our CEO, Shiv Narayanan, as well as our VP of Marketing to develop a social media strategy that supports our product lines and build’s How to SaaS + our CEO’s personal brand.
- Owning the end-to-end process of social media strategy + execution: concepting, scripting, filming, creating graphics, editing, writing, scheduling, engaging with followers, and growing an engaged audience.
- Creating and executing on a content calendar across all social platforms, which includes daily, weekly, and monthly posting plans across multiple platforms.
- Creating new content assets to be published every day, including ideation, writing and design.
- Tracking performance and reporting on the impact social media is having on our pipeline.
- Continually educating yourself about developments in social channels and suggesting ways to continue scaling our social media presence.
- Supporting the marketing department with additional tasks as needed.
