With over 100 locations, Horizon House provides services to a diverse population focusing on individual strength and choices.The Human Resources Department has a career opportunity for an Human Resource Representative in Wilmington, Delaware, to assist with the overall human resource and recruiting efforts of the Agency. Reporting to Human Resource Manager; provides support to the HR function in areas such as recruiting, employee relations, compliance, credentialing, and training.Some of the typical duties include:Talent acquisition, sourcing, applicant tracking, onboarding and orientation.Maintain accurate employee records and gathering all related documentation and key details.Assist with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information to Benefits department.Assist with audits, compliance reviews and other mandatory reports.QUALIFICATIONS:B.A. Degree in Personnel, Business or Public Administration or a closely related field preferred and at least 2 years of relevant experience in employment processes; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.Experience working for a human services organization and not-for-profit is a plus.Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be available for regional travel.Knowledge of and/or ability to learn employment laws and regulations.Highly organized and detail oriented.SCOPE:Required sitting for long periods of time.Frequent talking and listening.Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 pounds.Flexible schedule, including some evening and or weekend hours.If you have questions about this position, you may call 302-655-7108 ext. 71143.
