Software Engr II

As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Java, Node.js, and React.js within a microservices architecture. You will work on challenging projects that require innovative thinking and technical expertise, contributing to the overall success of our software engineering team.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Hyderabad, India location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our software solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Your contributions will help enhance the quality of our products and services, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SaaS applications using Java, Node.js, and React.js in a microservices architecture.
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes for cloud deployment on Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software specifications and requirements, ensuring alignment with Cyber Security best practices.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, enhancing development efficiency.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of software features and improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java, Node.js, and React.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud services.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD processes and working in an Agile environment.
