WordPress Full Stack Web Developer - Part time, Canada

We need an experienced WordPress developer to work on new (and old) websites.

Preference for BC/Alberta applicants.

You already know how to use ACF, Foundation, Java, JavaScript, PHP, etc. and are interested in working on interesting web development projects.

You have worked on dozens of WordPress websites and are familiar with WooCommerce too.

PLEASE NOTE: If your experience is mostly working with theme builders (Elementor, Bakery, Divi, etc) - this is NOT the right job for you. If you have never used WordPress, do not apply.

Expectations:

Your exact days and work hours are flexible, but you need to at least partially work/be available during regular client hours (8:30 am - 4:30pm Pacific Time). There are many parts of this position that require assistance or oversight from others - we work as a team. There is no weekend work.

We're not good with other languages so we expect a high skill level of English speaking and writing.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is NOT an entry level position.
• You must have WordPress programming experience.
• You must be able to communicate well via writing and speaking.
• You must be reliable.

What you need:

Since this is a remote position, you require a fast/broadband internet connection, your own computer and a web cam/microphone for Slack calls and Zoom meetings.

Who we are:

At Honeycomb Creative we develop complex catalog, e-commerce and marketing websites using WordPress and WooCommerce. Our projects tend to take longer and are more complex than typical WordPress websites. We run multiple servers with Upcloud, DigitalOcean and Vultr. We're a small shop with a world-class approach to web development.
