Product Designer

Role OverviewHomecouture Collective is looking for a Product Designer to lead the creation of distinct, high-end furniture and home decor collections.

This role blends design, materials, and market understanding—you’ll be responsible for taking products from concept to final execution, ensuring they align with HCC’s luxury positioning and craftsmanship standards.

Design &

• Development
• Design furniture, lighting, and home decor products aligned with HCC’s aesthetic
• Develop concepts, moodboards, sketches, and 3D models
• Translate ideas into production-ready designs and technical drawings
• Ensure balance between design appeal, functionality, and manufacturability

2. Material &

• Finish Innovation
• Research and experiment with premium materials, finishes, and textures
• Work with wood, metal, stone, fabrics, glass, and mixed materials
• Develop unique combinations that differentiate HCC products in the market

3. Vendor &

• Production Coordination
• Collaborate with carpenters, fabricators, and artisans
• Oversee prototyping and sampling
• Ensure final products match design intent and quality benchmarks
• Troubleshoot design issues during production

4.

Collection

Building

• Create cohesive product lines and seasonal collections
• Ensure consistency in design language across categories
• Contribute to building HCC’s signature style

5. Market &

• Trend Awareness
• Stay updated on global design trends and luxury interiors
• Adapt trends into contextual, India-relevant luxury products
• Benchmark against premium brands and competitors

Key Skills Required

• Strong design sensibility with a luxury aesthetic understanding
• Deep knowledge of materials, joinery, and furniture construction
• Ability to convert ideas into technical drawings and prototypes
• Strong attention to detail and finishing
• Vendor coordination and execution capability

Software Skills

• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• SketchUp / Rhino / Fusion 360 (preferred)
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentations

Experience

• 2–5 years in furniture / product / interior design
• Experience in custom furniture or luxury decor brands preferred
