Software Engineer(Elixir)

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in Elixir to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance applications and APIs that support data-driven products. The ideal candidate will bring full-stack development expertise, cloud experience, and a passion for building reliable, modern systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Elixir

Build and enhance full-stack web applications with modern frameworks and architectures

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external data products

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in AWS cloud environments

Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best development practices

Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems for performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Elixir in production environments (minimum of 5 years)

Proven experience in full-stack web development

Experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)

Solid understanding of API development and integration

Experience across the full software development lifecycle

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Experience with Ruby on Rails

Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
