Service Technician (Agricultural Equipment)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, and maintaining high standards of quality in your work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
• Uphold safety standards while working in the shop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic, preferably within a dealership setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to automotive systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
