Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Analyst III
12+ months Contract
Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
For now client is considering local to montreal candidates only.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategic sourcing initiatives and drive cost optimization across indirect spend categories (IT, services, external workforce)
- Conduct market analysis and support category management strategies
- Manage end-to-end RFX processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including vendor evaluation and selection
- Lead contract negotiations and collaborate with legal teams to ensure favorable terms
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers across global teams
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks while ensuring compliance with policies
- Track sourcing activities and deliver performance reports on savings and procurement efficiency
- Support process improvements and adoption of procurement tools and systems
- Act as a subject matter expert for procurement practices and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
- Strong experience in vendor negotiations and contract management
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with procurement tools such as Ariba, Ivalua, or Beeline
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Financial services experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
