Job Description

Prepares and cooks food items in accordance with company standards and menu. Line Cooks are expected to follow detailed instructions in cooking and consistently execute well-prepared food items. Successful line cooks can move efficiently in the kitchen and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment (mis en place)
  • Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting veggies/meat etc.)
  • Cook food w/ various tools and equipment
  • Ensure great presentation
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure food and items are stored safely and properly according to food handling and safety laws
  • Monitor stock and inventory
