Principal Qaulity engineer- Automation

We are looking for an experienced Principal Quality Engineer – Automation who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and driving quality engineering practices across complex data-driven platforms.

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States

Work Model: Onsite – Work From Office (5 days a week)

Experience: 6–10 Years

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and data pipelines
• Write clean and efficient automation code using Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Perform backend validation and data pipeline testing using SQL
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend, API, and database layers
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Drive automation strategy, quality best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

🔹 Desired Skills

• Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, PyTest, Playwright, or REST Assured
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
• Strong SQL and backend testing skills
• Familiarity with Git workflows and version control
• Bonus: Exposure to performance testing (JMeter), security testing (ZAP), BDD tools (Cucumber), AWS, Docker
